Celebrate America Show

Last night my husband and I went to the dress rehearsal for The Celebrate America Show.  This show contains a lot of great talent.  We enjoyed watching the dancing and singing.  And of course listening to the band.  I'm glad we got to go.
The show has been around for 20 years and I know many people that have made it a family tradition.  This show of course thrives on patriotism.  It is a great way to celebrate our country and those that have made it wonderful.  If you are thinking of going act fast.  The show is only available this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.  Reservations need to be made as dinner is involved.  Go and enjoy America!

Steve Ogden's Flooring

Have you seen Steve Ogden's Flooring on the front page of Tidbits?  They are running a free labor sale on carpet for September.  My husband and I bought carpet from them 5 years ago.  We used the free labor then and got 3 bedrooms and the hallway done.  What a great deal!  And five years later we still like the carpet.  The people working at Ogden's are great.  They have recently changed owners but I have talked with everyone that works there and the owner.  I would trust them with my carpet anyday!

Why blog Tidbits?

I've been contemplating a blog for Tidbits for many months, maybe even a year.  Why haven't I done it then?  Well, I'm busy, really I have a paper to run and two kids.  But, is that a good enough reason.  At least I'm starting it now. 
So really why am I starting the Tidbits blog.  Because Tidbits has so much.  Each issue could be twice as big with all the games, puzzles, and facts I could put in.  Plus, we have some really great businesses that don't get as much attention as they deserve.  So, keep coming back.  I will add stories, links, puzzles, and prizes.  And best of all, you can comment and tell me what you want in Tidbits or at least in the blog.  And, I might just put it in.
